May I introduce myself as the body in the Hong Kong and Pacific Department of the Colonial Office nominated to keep you informed of town planning activities in the territories coming under that Department?

It has occurred to me that you may be interested to know that Sir Patrick Abercrombie visited Hong Kong towards the end of 1947 to advise on planning and that he has recently produced & i̇reliminary Planning eport for the Colony.
